I am in the process of setting this site up to provide more information on the Banners for Special Needs Kids project.
Currently, the banners are made for medically-fragile, technologically dependent children at Pediatric Specialty Care (www.pediatricspecialty.com) in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Our group of 50 women hail from all over the world: United States, Canada, Mexico, France, England, Ireland, Australia and Germany.
We make banners for the kids (to hang over the beds or at their doorways) four times a year: at Halloween, Christmas/Winter Holidays, Valentine's Day, and Easter/Spring Holidays.
Your inquiry is welcome. We are always looking for generous crafters who donate their time, supplies and talent to make these banners, and then send them to the children whose lives they brighten.
We would also appreciate sponsors for prizes. Currently, we provide prizes to those who visit our crafters' blogs and comment on the banners We also provide one special prize to the crafter who makes the "Kids' Pick" favorite banner.
